Oh yes, it’s time for more Magic Fuzz Boxes of Love! The demo shows a different finish and an earlier prototype, but you can get a sense of where the tone is at.

Built point-to-point on tagboard, with our special formula of Telefunken AF101, Soviet-era GT308v, and European 2N1307/2N1309 germanium transistors. We've re-jiggered the wiring on this version to control the fuzz by varying the feedback resistor, leading to a more varied, flexible fuzz. An additional GAIN knob regulates the input to make it play nicely with humbuckers, or dime this for full on blooming, swelling pumping fuzz!

– Vintage AF101, GT308V and 2N1309 transistors

– Enclosure Size “125B”, Finished in Gold Sparkle, Printed Graphics

– Powered by 9v “Block” battery, or +9vDC power jack. We have built in an analog 9v power inverter, so you may power this with a standard negative ground power supply! (aka “Boss Style” adapter). This means the pedal integrates seamlessly with modern pedalboards.

– All the trimmings: Hand wired, Top Jacks and input/output wired cloth-covered wire, low power consumption LED, Fuzz, Volume, Gain (input trim, exc. for Humbuckers or just "smoothing" the tone) and a bias control in case of temperature fluctuations, and to adjust the overall sound “texture”.
