This left hand model, lightweight, single cutaway, solid body bass captures thundering contra bass low end and comes with a specially engineered bridge with long-throw, adjustable-compensation to change the scale length for polymer or steel strings.

A fretless fingerboard suggests the last bit of DNA of the Contra Bass, allowing for glissando or portamento "expression" (bending or slurring for guitar players). Dont be afraid to play fretless on our micro-scale basses. We inlay maple markers where the frets would be and we position the side dots on the edge of the fingerboard to show where to play. The short scale dictates that youre always pretty close to where you should be, so the margin for error is minimal and youll adapt in short order.
