Handmade and custom painted one at a time by me. This is a reproduction of the late '60s Electro-Harmonic lpb-1 boost pedal. Quality parts and Switchcraft jacks, it should last a lifetime.
It is a very clean transparent boost until the volume gets to around 7 where it then becomes its own overdrive. It's great for the beginning of an effect-loop to send a strong signal through to the amp. It overdrives other distortion pedals and makes all tube amps go to 11!
The paint is a rattle can enamel which I baked in the oven to make as hard as possible. But it can chip easier than modern powder-coat.
