Based off one of the most famous tweed era combos of all time. Hand wired with premium F&T and mallory caps throughout, carbon film resistors for reduced noise and Hammond output and power transformers. Loaded with hand selected tubes, including Sovtek 5Y3 rectifier, Tung Sol 6V6GT power tubes, sovtek 12AX7 and one TAD high grade 12AY7 in the preamp. Celestion creamback is a perfect match for this amp in my opnion, as the ceramic magnet tames a bit of the harshness and higher power handling than alnico of the same size prevents a bit of the ”fartiness” associated with this highly revered combo. The two tone cabinet is beautifully lacquered where the tweed is applied, and the brown bootleather floral pattern provides an inviting accent and superbly complements the speaker grill.
