Absolutely stunning Marantz 2285 with black faceplate and original wood cabinet. I stained the cabinet black to match my decor and the faceplate. At 85wpc, This is a step up from the more common 2270 as well as the 2275. Receiver is excellent. Faceplate near mint; cabinet very good as it has blemishes (see photos). Works as it should. Recent service includes cleaning of all controls and switches with deoxit and fader lube, New LEDs, and Tuner readjusted to specs. Sounds magnificent. This listed for $670 in 1977 ($3500 today), the only year it was made. Listed on eBay as well so I expect it to sell in early-mid January.
