This listing is for an vintage Fender Champion Lap Steel from the early 1950's. This lap steel body dates to 1/17/1953 and the serial number is "3245". It is overall in great condition, but it does show normal play wear such as dings, dents, and scratches. The pickup, pots, and knobs are changed to newer repros. The tuners are original, but the tuner buttons have been changed as these usually disintegrate over time. The input jack and the bridge are original, but the bridge screws are changed. The original case is in good shape, but the bottom hinge is no longer attached and there is a little bit of damage on the bottom corner. All three latches and the handle are fully functional.
