XPD2 Wireless delivers its high-quality audio through digital transmission. This type of wireless technology allows the PXD1 handheld transmitter to send an uncompressed signal to the receiver. The result is a higher signal-to-noise ratio compared to a traditional wireless system, and performance that sounds as good as a wired microphone. The RXD2 USB stick receiver connects directly to Mac or PC computers, or to any Samson Expedition Series Portable PA system that has a USB wireless port. An added feature from the previous generation system, the 1/8" (3.5mm) output allows for headphone monitoring, or the XPD2 Lavalier can be used with any device that has an analog line input, including smartphones and other mobile devices. A streamlined setup is essential to empower any active performer or presenter. The RXD2 USB key receiver easily connects to any Samson Expedition Series portable PA system or Samson mixer with a USB wireless port. The RXD2 has a 1/8" (3.5mm) analog output that can be used with headphones or to connect to other devices with an analog input. A USB-A to USB-C adapter is also included for use with other compatible devices.
