Here we have a vintage pre-owned Power Soak from iconic guitarist and guitar equipment engineer Tom Scholz. This unit dates to 1982 and is in very good condition for it's age.
The Power Soak was originally designed by Scholz when he and his band 'Boston' were recording their debut album. It was made so they could get a cranked tone out of their Marshall stacks responsible studio volumes. The Power Soak also included a master volume selector so the desired tone can be achieved and then volume set afterwards.
