Summary: Unlike its’ ES brethren, the CS-336 sports solid woods, with a premium mahogany body and a solid maple top – this guitar has a wonderful quilt top. Coupled with Wildwood Spec Custom Bucker pickups, the result is a punchy guitar with incredible note bloom, a rich midrange and a sweet attack that harkens back to some of our favorite vintage instruments.
Body: Semi-Hollow body with a solid quilted maple top and mahogany back & sides. This instrument has single-ply cream binding on the top, back & fingerboard.
Neck: 1 piece mahogany with a rosewood fretboard & dot inlays. This instrument has a 12” fretboard radius with a nut width of 1.687”. The neck dimensions are .830 at the 1st fret & .920 at the 12th fret. The frets are in great condition.
Pickups/Hardware: Gibson Custom Buckers wound to Wildwood spec. This guitar has 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs & a three-way switch. This guitar has nickel hardware.
Cosmetics: This instrument is in really great shape – there are very few imperfections that I can find on this guitar. I see a few swirly places on the back and perhaps some very small scratches, but overall this guitar is in great shape. This guitar does have a pickguard in the case but it has never been installed onto the guitar & there are no holes to accept the pickguard.
Playability: This instrument is very easy to play – the action is low & the guitar plays with no buzz or dead spots. This guitar has been professionally set up in house with 10’s.
Weight: 6 lbs., 6 oz.
Case: Original hard shell with COA – this also includes some Wildwood Guitars picks & the pickguard is inside the case.
