With vintage style metal can transistors in the audio signal path and modern surface mount ones in the electrical current path, this opamp is both flavorful and reliable. High current output so it easily drives transformers down to 75 ohms. Presented in the ubiquitous API 2520 / Jensen 990 6-pin footprint, it's ready to upgrade your gear with Vintage Thick, Future Clear sonics.
Designed both in the computer in Spice and on my breadboard, I didn’t stop flipping components until it achieved the tone I was looking (hearing?) for.
