Rogers Vintage Drum Shell Pack - Londoner White Fullerton

This is a Rogers Londoner in New England White Four Piece Drum Set. It was made in approximately 1972-1975, because all of the drums have the matching white paper tags inside, with the 9/72 on them. It has Script logo, and Swivomatic hardware. I do not know the if they are 3 ply or 5 ply, but they do have rerings. Please feel free to ask any questions before buying.

The sizes are 8x12”, 9x13”, 16x16” and 22x14”. All of the drums are in Very Good used condition for their age, with normal issues from being about 50 years old.

Details:

All of the drums have the grey speckled paint, with the white paper labels with 9/72 on them. All of the insides are in very good condition- no issues.

The bearing edges are all good, and the drums tune up just fine, and sing.

All of the wrap is incredibly clean for its age, with less than normal scuffing or marks. There are some nicks, but they are few. The wrap is tight. There is some separation, and lifting, but it is consistent. It’s just from the plastic shrinking from about 50 years of age.

Most of the chrome is in good to very good condition, with some minor pitting or hazing/patina, but it’s not on most of the chrome parts.

The Swivomatic hardware works fine, but the collets have some micro cracks in them, which is normal for this era.

The floor tom legs and bass drum legs work fine.

The 12” is in good condition, with no working issues. There is one replacement screw on the chrome muffler holder plate. It has some rash on the bottom hoop (minor rust removed?), but that’s the only drum with it.

The 13” tom is in good condition, with no working issues. It has one non original tension screw and tension screw washer.

The 16” tom is in good working condition, with no issues. The legs work fine, and there are a couple of replacement mini screws for the leg bracket mounts.

The 22” bass drum is in good working condition. The wrap is good. The chrome is good. There are normal issues, like four of the T Rods are bent from normal use over time. These are the four that are on the bottom of the drum. There is also one non original tension rod washer. The rubber feet are not in great condition. There is normal use on the hoops, marks from the claws, etc. but no working issues. Both of the white inserts in the hoops are original and in good condition.

The Heads:

The 12” and 13” toms have Remo Pinstripe top heads in Fair to Good used condition. They are useable, but not “like new”. Both of these drums have Remo Clear Ambassadors on the bottom in very good condition, with no issues.

The 16” tom has a Remo Powerstroke 3 Clear top head in Very Good used condition with no issues. The bottom head is a Remo Ambassador Clear in very good used condition, with no issues.

The 22” Bass Drum has a Rogers Logo Black front head, in “good” used condition. It shows some use, but it works fine. The Bass Drum batter head is a Remo Encore Pinstripe head, in “good” serviceable condition. It is not, “like new” but it does work.

They will need to be cleaned, as per your personal preference.
