This 1953 Blackguard is mostly all original. The finish has been removed and it looks like a stain was applied ages ago. Neck decal was removed with finish. Dowel marks are present and neck dates to 6-17-53 (TG) and body dates to 6-12-53 (TG). Bridge pickup and one pot were replaced with another 53 pickup and pot (original 53 pickup included but not working). Pickguard is original. Spectacular 53 Blackguard.
