This is a 2014 Dean Hillsboro 3/4 (30" scale) JR bass, with an added string to make it a 5'er! I changed the bridge out from 4-to-5, drilled and added a tuner up-top, cut a new 5 string nut, strung it with brand new LaBella 45-130 Round Wound strings and it turned out great! Little scuffs/scratches on it, but nothing too bad.

I replaced the stock 4-string pickup with a Hot Rail / Blade pickup. Sounds great.

This particular short scale bass has a nice, wide neck heel to accommodate the extra string without it looking or performing poorly. See the pic; the strings line up real nice.

It's also relatively lightweight- It weighs in at 7lb 5.4oz on my scale. Light, but has a nice, solid feel to it.

Take a look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions.

I am now selling this with a brand new Kramer Gig Bag...... these gig bags fit the bass like a glove and have real good padding/construction. I use these soft cases for almost all my short scale basses.

FREE SHIPPING Lower 48 states only. Also, this is the final listing for this in it's current state. If no interest, I will go to plan "B".

I will ship out as soon as it's sold/ paid, via UPS or other carrier. Shipped insured and signature required, per Reverb's requirements.

Thanks for dropping by !
