B-15 inspired tube Bass preamp with active DI.

Features:
Front panel-
Input (w/pad for active instruments)
Preamp control (input trim)
Bass control
Treble control
Level control to front panel output (for output to an amp or line in)
Ultra switches (standard Low and high boosts, plus I threw in a mid boost)
Rear Panel-
XLR output level control
Phase (XLR out polarity) switch
Active DI only input jack. (This breaks connection from front preamp controls and allows you to just use the tube balanced output section for DI with volume)

With the break jack on the rear of unit, you’re afforded the ability to use the front preamp and send out to an amp or line input, and plug in an instrument on the rear jack, and get an active DI with level control.
Two’fer

Presented in a NOS hooded BUD enclosure.
Powers off a 1 spot style power adapter, and runs 300VDC internally, that the two submini tubes need to reach primo operation.

Features Edcor line matching transformer for balanced out.

Makes a great recording preamp, or use it to drive a power amp for insta-B15 amp at whatever wattage you choose.
Sounds are very Tube-like, with low noise floor.
