Up for sale is this very rare and beautiful Martin 00–28G built in 1942.
The guitar comes housed in its original case, which is also quite rare.
The finish is original. The herringbone trim is beautiful. The craftsmanship is second to none, which is, in part, why these years are so prized.
The guitar was just given a full service which included a fresh neck reset, bridge re-glue, l and new saddle. Apart from some minor cosmetic flaws, the only other thing to note is a spot of wear near an old top repair near the bass side sound hole (clearly visible in the photo).
The case is in similar condition to the guitar. The handle came off the case, but is included in the inside pocket.
This guitar can be shipped worldwide. It will be described as a “used acoustic guitar” and declared for the full purchase price. No exceptions and no falsifying customs forms under any circumstances.
