One Mosrite Combo 12-string from 1966 in "transparent red." Hollow body, 1/2" thick top plate, one f-hole. Bigsby vibrato added long ago. Everything original, as far as I can tell, except for the Bigsby and one of the tuners (the first G). The original fixed tailpiece will come with.
It has Mosrite's "speed frets," meaning they're very low.
There are numerous dings on the body and several long finish checks on the back. Some scarring just above the nut apparently caused by a rogue wall hanger. When I first got this guitar years ago, the finish was in poor condition. To protect it from further deterioration, I top-coated it with a few coats of clear lacquer, wet sanded and polished. Evidence of this can be seen in places if your look very closely.
One of the fretboard dots is missing at fret 5. Otherwise the neck is straight and in fine shape.
Overall, a cool guitar that sounds terrific. I'll leave it up to you to compare it to a Rickenbacker.
No case, but I have an old Gibson Explorer case that fits it perfectly. Let me know if you're interested in that.
Message me with questions. Thanks for looking!
