The AM70 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1985. It was made in Japan by Terada as part of the Artstar series.

The AM70 features a compact, semi-hollow, double cutaway body design with an arched, laminated birch top with ƒ holes and ivory binding on birch back and sides with a maple center block mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and pearloid dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez IBZ humbucking pickups with black covers, black plastic pickup rings, a Short Stop bridge with integrated tailpiece, a bone nut, Sure Grip II knobs, and Smooth Tuner tuning machines.

The AM75 & AM75T are similar models with a tremolo bridge. The AM60 & AM66 are similar models with figured maple bodies. The AM205 is a related model with a burl mahogany body and mahogany neck, an ebony fretboard with split block inlays, a Tune-O-Matic style bridge, gold hardware and a pickguard.

The AM70 was discontinued in 1987.
