William Lewis and Son Ton-Klar The Dancla 16 1/2" No.2523 Model Viola, c. 1960's, made in Germany, serial # 94754, dark amber varnish finish, Spruce top, maple back, sides and neck, ebony fingerboard and tailpiece, black hard shell case. Made in Germany for William Lewis and Son, Chicago. Two piece maple back. Includes old rosin, case key and mute.


Overall length is 27 in. (68.6 cm.), 9.5 in. (24.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1.75 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at rib. Scale length is 15 in. (381 mm.). Very clean overall. Small repair at lower back seam. No cracks or breaks. Very little play wear. Excellent Condition.
