This is the socket that a vintage cord would plug into, OEM equipment in many Bell & Howell projectors from the 1940s through the 1960s. It's 1" in diameter and has male pins that are the same as an unpolarized US lamp cord. It has cloth-wrapped wires.
Please don't use this for new work - only restorations. It's not grounding.
