These Dbasses were made for showing at the 2001-02 LA and Nashville NAMM shows. They are like new and come with a gig bag. Bartolini ACTIVE electronics made by Bill Bartolini before his passing. Hipshot bridge and tuners. Jazz bass style bodies with finish done by a well known LA instrument finisher. Moses Graphite made the 2 Graphite with "rosewood" fingerboards, and are amazing sounding thin profile necks. The Maple/Rosewood neck is outstanding. Dbass specs and explanation: 38.1" scale at the lo DGCF, with double dot at the 34" EADG location. Capo at the double dot when wanting standard bass tuning, and take capo off for the best Lo Eb and D you will ever hear. The open GC, and F are also incredible sounding. The small headstock helps with balance, AND the Dbasses fit in standard 34" scale bass cases. XTRA XTRA long bass strings are needed, and Fodera AND D'Addario make custom strings for my basses. I have Stainless Steel and Nickel wound strings in stock, in the most used gauges. Strings for these basses are normal gauges, and sound amazing because of the extended scale. Note that the original MSRP on these 3 basses was $2395 each. The $995 pricing is less than what the manufacture, parts and assembly cost us. You can buy a 21 year old classic in LIKE NEW condition.
