Leslie 50C (122-type / 2 speed conversion), 300W, tube pre-amp, 1/4” input

This is a beast of a Leslie. For the right person, it would be an incredibly practical and powerful speaker. Is currently set up for clonewheel organist: 1/4” input and 11-pin rotary control (slow/fast/stop). Could also use with guitar, with Dr Fishsticks 11-pin Hammond Controller or Crumar 11 (for speed control, still have to go into amp through 1/4”).

It is a 1950s Leslie cabinet (identical to 122 dimensions), with 122 parts added afterwards. It has a very clear sound, and way more power than a vintage 40W Leslie. In the video, I have it turned up to the level you can see in one of the photos (a fraction of the power). You have the power to actually play with a band with this thing, unlike a vintage Leslie which has to be miked. (Even for jazz, they barely have enough power for rehearsing with a drummer).

It comes with a speakeasy vintage tube preamp as a bonus , which for me made all the difference in the world in terms of getting an authentic organ tone (you want to do direct out of your clonewheel/ no Leslie cab simulation!). The speakeasy is missing its pigtail connector, so it can’t be used to control a Leslie, just as a (very effective) tube preamp. It has a fuse that is a little wonky- maybe should be replaced? But it does work.

Amplifier is a Nady Audio XA-300. You could use a different amplifier with it if you wanted, you would just have to make sure you matched the speaker impedance. I have all the technical documentation that came from the guy who built it.

One big advantage of this is that it weighs less than a traditional Leslie because the amplifier is external. It’s much easier to move. Also, it has casters. You could remove them if you wanted to.

I am absolutely not going to bring this to you, you have to pick it up in Fryeburg, ME. You could demo it first. I can help you load it into your van or truck if you’re reasonably strong. I’m guessing the cabinet weighs 100-120lbs without the amplifier, but that’s a rough guess. I’m 6’ 1, 180, didn’t have much trouble moving it with one other person. Definitely significantly lighter than a 122 with internal tube amplifier.

Also includes a Leslie pulley with 3 speed settings from Trek II that I was going to install, so I could adjust the horn speed a little (slower or faster).

All that junk you can see on the floor, that is my wireless router and modem and other stuff, not part of the speaker. I have a small house.
