This is a pre-factory 1986 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 fret guitar. The way the color has faded over the years is really cool. The depth of the wood grain on the top is absolutely stunning! It features the 5-position “sweet” switch for pickup selection. The fingerboard is Brazilian Rosewood and has moon phase inlays rather than the birds. The frets are good with a little wear that I tried to capture in the photo on the second fret and less on the first. The back and back of the neck have some scratches in the dark blue that show the lighter blue undercoat (see pics). But all in all it is in nice shape. It was just set up with NYXL 10’s and plays really nicely. It comes in the original case with the original papers, tremolo arm and Allen keys for truss rod and trememlo system. It weighs in at 8 pounds 6 ounces.
