Vintage 1950 Oahu Iolana Double Neck Six String Lap Steel Guitar w/ Original Geib Hardshell Case! Kluson Keys, Valco-Built!

Up for sale is this vintage 1950 Oahu Iolana double-neck, double-six lap guitar.

This is one our list of coolest steels ever built and it certainly wins in the "Coolest Tuners Kluson Ever Made" category as well! This example is all original with the exception of the professionally rebuttoned tuning keys, which is a huge plus to already have done.

Cosmetically, the instrument shows signs of use, but not neglect. There are some scuffs and dings which is to be expected of an instrument of this age, but it's clean overall.

The electronics have just been tested, sprayed out, and work as they should and it sounds great and is an absolute joy to play.

The original Geib hardshell case is included and is in good, sturdy condition although the exterior shows pretty heavy wear. Both latches work and clasp as they should, but the latch closest to the body has lost its spring. No major issue, but we like to be 100% transparent about these things!

Overall, a very nice example of a very cool Valco-built model, don't miss out...
