Crate G120C XL 1990 Fully Serviced!

For sale! 1990 Crate G120C XL Stereo Chorus amplifier (60 watts per side, MUST be used with a stereo cabinet.) (CAB NOT INCLUDED)

Fully recapped (not just the filter caps - ALL of the electrolytics), ALL ceramic resistors replaced, every jack, potentiometer and switch cleaned and lubricated where necessary. Output transistors biased to factory setting. New leather wrapped top handle.


This is a seriously good amp. Might be the best solid state I have ever plugged into. From chimey cleans with luscious chorus and real spring reverb, to fully fledged chugged out metal tones and everything in between. The later G130 version was used by Jack Owen of Cannibal Corpse! I've put a good amount of time in jamming on this amp and it functions flawlessly. 

Features a myriad of output options all in stereo - XLR balanced, 1/4” line out AND in, Quad speaker outputs, and headphone out with a switch to turn off the speakers. Also a front side effects loop. Unfortunately I do not have the original footswitch but it takes a fairly standard two button switch with a TRS on one lead and a TS on the other.

I’m willing to meet within an hour or so of Topeka if you’re further away. I would offer shipping but I cannot find the right box for this thing!
