2000 Fender American Vintage AVRI '62 Jazzmaster - Shell Pink w/ Matching Headstock
This Fender Jazzmaster was made in the USA in 2000. It is a USA American Vintage 1962 Reissue (AVRI '62) model was custom ordered in original Shell Pink with matching headstock by Yamano in Japan. The guitar shows light wear and a small area of paint fading on the back (possibly due to a sticker) but overall is in very nice and clean condition (please reference photos for condition). Includes original Fender hardcase, trem arm, and case candy.
Though it's no longer in production, the Fender American Vintage '62 Jazzmaster was a member of the company's esteemed American Vintage Reissue series, designed to the specs of old-school favorites. This one, of course, was based on the original '62 Jazzmaster, which was renowned for its place in the surf rock tunes of the '60s, as well as a smattering of other defining genres over the following decades. With two single-coil soapbar pickups, a three-way pickup selection switch, and a floating tremolo system, among other design elements matched to its vintage counterpart, the American Vintage '62 Jazzmaster is a great way to get those retro vibes flowing.
