Late 1940's, maybe early 50's, Bronson Singing Electric lap steel. It looks like years ago the original pickup might have been replaced. If this is the original pickup, it looks like it was opened up and repaired. The original volume and tone knobs were replaced with chrome knobs at some point. The pots, which look original, should be replaced at some point. The tone control surprisingly works right now but the volume is a bit intermittent when adjusting. Small crack in the plastic wrap/covering to the left of the pickup cover. Plays and sounds good. An inexpensive way to get started and have a cool piece of history. Comes with a chip board case that looks original or pretty old if not.
