This is the first year production, which would have been late 1965, in which about 80 total pianos were produced.

This piano has been meticulously restored, having been found in over 90% original condition. Some cosmetics were spruced up, like the tolex, and grill cloth, but all of the important stuff is here, and original to this piano. I repkaced a few of the upper tines with period correct Raymacks... and restored the original amp and preamp. I wasn't able to find reasonable replacement hammers for the original felt hammers, so I set them aside and bought the neoprene drop in replacements. This is also advised as the best course of action in the manual from this era. These are the early hammers with wooden heads, also made in the 60s, with replaceable tips, in felt or rubber. I opted for rubber, as I like the tone of the Raymack tines with the rubber tips. It would be very easy to change them over to felt, for the truly authentic sparkle-top sound. The original hammer butts are included with this purchase.

I kept the original Jordan amp inside, but modified the original preamp with modern high gain/low noise Jfets and modern EQ and vintage style vibrato. So it sounds just like an original, but will provide whisper quiet studio quality results. The original speakers were not present, so I installed four late 50s, matching Rola speakers, alnico 12's, for an ideal match with the Jordan amp, and a system capable of clean and perfect overdriven tones. An ideal stage rig, for the king of classic stage pianos.
