Vintage Acoustic 220 solid state bass head in very good condition overall for its age. It's missing EQ slider knobs, but the sliders function as they should and it's easy to control them. Recently professionally serviced by a technician and is in good working order. There are a few very minor tears and spots on the tolex and minor rusting of some hardware.

The 220 head was produced in the mid to late '70s and was rated (by Acoustic) at 125 watts RMS into 4 ohms (@5% THD) and 160 watts RMS into 2 ohms (@5% THD).

The Acoustic amplifiers were truly revolutionary in their time, and many bassists played through one (such as Jaco Pastorius, Larry Graham (slap master from Sly and the Family Stone) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin)), because they were loud as hell, sounded great and had plenty of headroom. Perfect for metal, funk, rock, and anything you need - if you want a reliable tank, this is it!
This amp gets loud. The graphic EQ gives you a lot of options, because you can boost or certain frequencies with up to 20db (!!). The head also sounds great for funk, slap too (boost that mid!!). If you want it to be less loud, there is also an -10db sensitivity input, making it a versatile amp also usable for small venues / bars.
