Electric 8 string Mandobass Conversion made from a brand new Stedman Pro Half sized Electric bass Guitar

Tuning: GG DD AA EE from low to high (2 octaves below mandolin)

      I modified the headstock to accommodate 8 new sealed guitar tuners. Installed my custom design electric mandobass bridge ( fully compensating for string height and intonation. Modified the nut and did a full setup on the instrument for great playability.

    The strings used for the mandobass are: GG (0.070) - DD (0.048) - AA (0.036) - EE (0.022w). The strings are standard D’Addario nickel ball end electric guitar strings.

Remember, this is NOT an electric bass guitar. It is an electric mandobass.

PLEASE NOTE! This Instrument is a conversion made from a GUITAR.

The neck will have a guitar type width, as I do NOT reduce the neck's width.

So if you're accustomed to playing banjo, tenor guitar, mandolin, or any other stringed instrument with a narrower neck, this instrument will have a larger feel to your hand.
