Vintage 1930s Favilla Archtop - Super Rare Unit!

Favilla Guitars, Inc. was a family-run musical instrument company which produced quality string instruments for approximately 96 years until 1986. Originally called "Favilla Bros.", the company built guitars, mandolins, banjos, ukuleles, and violins. The Favilla family immigrated from Cremona Italy to New York in the late 1800's. Cremona was the famous for some of the world's finest Luthier's and is the region that Antonio Stradivarius was from.

Over the past 6-7 years I have purchased, repaired and re-sold about 60 of their guitars and ukes. This is one I added to my personal collection and now after years I am offering it up.

About 5 years back I corresponded with Tom Favilla regarding this guitar - Tom is one of the last family members that actually worked at the Favilla factory and he confirmed that of the many instruments and models that Favilla created, the archtops were very rare.

She is in REMAKABLE condition! And, the tone is crazy good - Django Reinhardt tone all the way - Super punchy! Neck is very straight - little to no fret wear - a couple minor top-scuffs - ALL ORIGINAL.

Don't miss out on this one!
