For these noble Congas Meinl uses the best American White Ash(Fraxinus americana L. ). Three-layered, massive staves are glued together in barrel-shaped construction in order to give the bell-shaped shell the highest possible sound quality. The proven Meinl hardware harmonises perfectly with the beautiful grain of the matt varnished wood.
