2001 FENDER VIBRO KING AMPLIFIER

Very nice clean 2001 Fender Vibro King. Tan / off white with oxblood grill.
This amp sounds great .... worth every penny!

Listing as VG but it is more VG+ (EX)
All original except power tubes are recent change outs - RUBY 6L6GCMSTR.
A few of the pre amp tubes could be swapped but they all seem to be from the era.

The 6L6GCMSTRs bias within 1mA of each other (see pics)
so a really tight biased pair and they are real 6L6GCs not 5881s so they put out a real 25-30 watts per tube. Try to find real 6L6GCs these days. Most new tube manufacturers just say theirs are real but they’re 5881s. Which are great tubes ….. but yeah.
All tubes tested strong on my Hickok 6000A.
Reverb works strong. It's the 6V6 style tube (best design)
Vibrato works great and is ultra creamy.
Original speakers kill and are in great shape - tuned (push and pull together!)
Check the pics out. They show the Power Tubes at 40% dissipation.
I now went to 50% which is 35.1ma and 35.3ma , because these tubes can take it! When biasing 5881s you usually run out of the turn of the biasing pot around 42% so you know they’re 5881s!
Footswitch IS included.
