Brian Setzer's Evil Twin. Own a piece of Rock and Roll history!
I bought this 1955 Fender Twin from Brian Setzer on Reverb almost 3 years ago. Serial #0067.......
When I bought it, it was not working. Turns out the main issue was the harness to the Output Transformer. I shipped the OT to the guys at Mercury Magnetics in California (Great People there, highly recommend!) and they said the OT was in EXCELLENT condition. Then they replaced the harness/lead wires. I had a local pro finish the rest: All controls, chassis and socket pins were cleaned, bad joints were resoldered and bass pot rebuilt. It was tested and no other faults were found. Speakers are matching and appear to be original. Power cord was updated at some point. We are assuming that the tweed, grill cloth and leather handle were redone at some point over the decades and they did a good job.
The amp now sounds and looks great! See Youtube video.
All receipts for the work done are included. Brand new amp cover included. Copy of 1955 Fender Twin schematic and layout are included. Reverb embossed COA, signed by Brian Setzer, included!
