Ludwig Legacy Classic Mahogany Fab kit in Vintage Blue Oyster wrapped finish.
Sizes (depth x diameter): 9x13 Tom, 16x16 Floor Tom, 14x22 Bass Drum.
Shells are 1/16 in. Mahogany Outer Ply, 1/8 in. Poplar Core Ply, 1/16 in. Mahogany Inner Ply with ¼ in. Solid Maple Reinforcement Rings.
Set has Large Classic Lugs, Classic Brackets on the floor tom, Legacy Keystone Badge, Elite spurs, Cast claws.
13in. tom has no mount. Add a Vibraband, Atlas bracket, or mount in a snare stand. Mount for 13 is available but not included.
Any stands, snare drum, or cymbals pictured are available but not included.
The key to Legacy's classic tone begins with a cross-laminated American Poplar center ply to lend focus to the warm rich low-end "woody" tones of inner/outer Mahogany plies.
This unique shell combination is further stabilized by a specially rounded bearing edge with 1/4 in. solid maple reinforcement rings. Bearing edge is 30 Degree inner cut with a 1/4 in. radius round over producing a pure, well-rounded sonic footprint. Legacy Series revives the distinctive sound that set the standard for popular music throughout the 20th Century.
