Gibson LG-2 3/4 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Factory Order #W2..., which classifies it as being made in 1953, sunburst top, dark back and sides finish, mahogany back, sides and neck, spruce top, rosewood fingerboard.
This Guitar is crack free and only has minor dings in the finish which is pretty normal for a guitar of it's age. The cardboard case is non original to this guitar but a very old one and similar to the original case which i guess is also vintage maybe ordered in the 60s? also in very good condition as you can see on the photos and the overall construction of both the guitar and case are solid.
Specifications are as follow:
Overall length is 36 3/4 in. (93.3 cm.), 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 15/16 in. (10 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 22 3/4 in. (578 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).
Don't let yourself be fooled by the size of this guitar cause it has a very full and powerful sound similar to a big size guitar after all it's a vintage Gibson made of the very high standards type of wood, this baby is very vibrant and resonant, super loud too and sounds superb. This guitar is 100% fully original with the vintage single line kluson tuners (see photo), only modification was the installation of a piezo pickup so you can plug straight into your amp or sound mixer and play it live which gives you the freedom to move around without having to be stuck to a mic pointed to the front of the guitar.
