An original 1939 Recording King Model D lap steel built by Gibson. Features a Charlie Christian style blade pickup and includes the original hard shell case. The electronics are original and though it plays, the pots and cap should be replaced at this point. Pots have been sprayed but still scratchy. The D & G tuners are slightly bent but work fine. Original tuners but the buttons have been replaced.
