This beautiful guitar is impeccably built with really high quality woods, and after all that , it sounds wonderful and plays almost effortlessly.
The sides and back are from beautifully figured Brazilian rosewood. The soundboard is tight grained silver spruce , which makes the treble overtones ring. The bridge is also Brazilian rosewood, as is the faceplate with top quality Sloan tuners. The fingerboard is ebony wood and the neck is made with Honduras cedar, lighter in weight than mahogany, but strong and stable.
There are so many special details here, with the beautifully detailed binding and little gems of detail around the bridge and tie-block, as as on the back seam and binding.
The finish is a very thin nitrocellulose laquer, which is strong , but won’t dampen the wonderful sound this guitar makes.
It’s really and outstanding instrument . As soon as you spend a little time with this one, it will be inviting you to take it home!
