MachineRoom 204D Dual VCF is a full analogue dual voltage controlled low-pass filter, which filters out the higher parts of the sound spectrum and lets lower frequencies pass through. Based on "transistor ladder" design of Minimoog 204D, with a cut-off slope of -24 dB/octave as in various Moog synthesizers. Has separate controls for both sections, but can be used for stereo operations as well.
Resonance (or Emphasis) is adjustable all the way up to self-oscillation - in this case the filter behaves like a sine wave oscillator with V/Oct tracking up to 4 octaves.
