The Seymour Duncan Antiquity Texas Hot Set is a complete set of three vintage correct, hand aged Stratocaster pickups with cloth hookup wires. This set includes the Texas Hot neck pickup, the Texas Hot RWRP reverse-wound reverse-polarity middle pickup, and the Texas Hot Custom Bridge pickup.

For years Seymour has been custom-making these pickups for his friends and special artist friends. Each Texas Hot is carefully assembled and hand-wound like the traditional classics. Careful attention to details like scatter-winding ensures that the Texas Hot looks and sounds like a classic Strat should. Seymour makes them for the player wanting the closest re-creation of a vintage pickup. Period.

The magnets in the neck and bridge pickup are calibrated and the coils are wound "top going" with "north" magnetic polarity, the same as the early vintage models. The magnets in the middle pickup are calibrated and the coils are reverse-wound with "south" magnetic polarity, for hum cancelling in the middle position. Each cover is individually aged: not just injection molded with custom colored plastics. Each pickup comes complete with screws, schematics and vintage "push back" cloth braid hookup wire.

The Texas Hot Custom Bridge is a vintage correct, hand aged Stratocaster pickup with a cloth hookup wire. This pickup is wound hotter than the standard wound Texas Hot, for added output and fullness in the bridge position. Like the Texas Hot, this pickup is both magnetically and physically aged to sound and look like a '50s pickup but with an added punch.
