- This guitar has the amazing-sounding USA DeArmond Gold-Tone Humbucker Pickups, as installed by Fender in California. These guitars were produced for Fender in Korea, with the electronics & finishing completed at Fender in CA. Numerous sound clips of these Gold-Tone pickups can be found on YouTube if you're not already familiar with them. The pickups alone regularly sell for well over $100 each.
- All-original except for the missing pickguard--the two pickguard screw holes have been rough-filled & colored red so they don't show up that clearly (see the close-up photos of this area).
- It's just been restrung with brand new .009's & had a complete professional set-up, including: frets polished, fretboard cleaned & oiled, truss rod adjusted, bridge & pickup heights adjusted, intonation set, nut cleaned & lubricated, all screws & nuts tightened (on tuners, etc.), all pots & switches spray-cleaned, etc.
- In addition to the above, every guitar I sell is given a thorough deep-clean & is set-up to make sure it's playing at it's very best; you won't need to do anything to the instrument upon receiving it, unless you decide to adjust the action or change string gauges.
- Functionally this guitar is in perfect condition. It plays, feels, & sounds fantastic, & all electronics work perfectly & quietly.
- Cosmetically it's in very good condition, with numerous finish scratches & other signs of wear, all of which can be seen in the photos. ***Please look carefully at all of the above photos for condition & message me if you'd like to see a few extra photos beyond the 25 allowed in the listings.
