The 1073-5T is a fully discrete Tube 1073 preamplifier in a 500 series format compatible with all 500 rack lunchboxes.
It retains the classic Carnhill VTB9045 input transformer and BA283 cards found on the preamp section of the classic Neve 1073 circuit. The output section consists of ECC82 tube and a custom-made Nickel output transformer adding further harmonic distortion and coloration to this renowned circuit with a whopping 75dB of gain.
These units run quietly and do not get hot and are burned for 72 hours before shipping.
