Stan Lynch was the original drummer in Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Stan Lynch was a founding member of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers in 1976. He played drums and sang background vocals on all of the band's biggest albums. He left the band in 1994. He was inducted with all of the original band into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
