Laney 4x12 guitar cabinet slant front 280-watts 16-Ohm 1992 black

Up for sale is a Laney 4x12 guitar speaker cabinet with a slant (angled) front; this is a 16 Ohm, 280-watt cabinet with a sticker that lists a test date of 20 March 1992. The speakers are the original Cradley Heath England speakers--the same ones that make all old Laney cabinets sound so good.

This cabinet is in really great shape, considering it is a 25-year-old (at least) guitar speaker cabinet; there are a couple of small nicks and tears in the Tolex covering (the worst of which should be visible in the pictures), but the metal grill is in very good condition (no heavily corroded or bent/dented areas, like there often can be with many other Laney cabs of this age) and the speakers themselves are in excellent shape. This cabinet sounds awesome! Includes the original removable casters (4) on the bottom.

I'm asking $300 for this cabinet, reduced from the original $350 asking price.  I have a full Laney stack that this cabinet came from, and since I don't really play out anymore I really just don't need two 4x12 cabinets...so I'm keeping the straight (bottom) cab to record with.

I can't bring this speaker cabinet to meet you anywhere, so you'll want to plan to pick it up from my location in Marietta. And this might seem silly to point out, but I'm going to point it out anyways in the hopes of avoiding some confusion and hassles: this is a 4x12 guitar speaker cabinet so it probably won't fit in the back seat of a Honda (or other small car), and you'll want to be sure the vehicle you're planning to pick the cabinet up in will actually fit the cabinet in it before you try to secure the sale. If you purchase the cabinet and then it turns out that the cabinet won't fit in your car and so therefore you don't want it after all, I'll deduct $50 from the refund to cover my time.

And since this is local pick-up only, I'll demonstrate the functionality of the cabinet when you arrive to pick it up; if it doesn't perform as it should, then I'll refund your money right then (via the same or equivalent payment method you paid with)...so therefore this sale will be AS IS, with no returns.
