He redefined rock drumming with his innovative playing with Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Beck Bogart and Appice, Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osborne, Edgar Winter, Ted Nugent and more. He literally “wrote the book” on rock drumming with his “Realistic Rock” drum method, the best selling rock drum book of all time. He introduced the rock drum world to China cymbals and gongs that are now commonplace on the modern drum set. Carmine is without a doubt, one of the most influential and innovative drummers of our time.

This nickel Chinese cymbal was part of carmine's signature series of Sabian cymbals. The original real Chinese made China cymbals that Carmine helped make famous in the 1970s were made from a high nickel content alloy. Sabian used the same alloy in creating a line of Carmine's signature nickel cymbals. This cymbal remains in good shape but shows a notable dent, the result of Carmine's unrelenting accents. Autographed by Carmine Appice. Includes a COA signed by Carmine Appice.
