It seems everybody has their version of the famous maple-top/mahogany-bodied classic. And this one—the Guid Bluesbird—is a worthy competitor, both in build, playability and price. Designed in the ’70s, it features a chambered body and Seymour Duncan vintage-style pickups for weight control and great tone.
The Bluebird is equipped with a carved-flamed maple top with an Iced Tea Burst finish that's sure to be an eye-catcher on any stage (yes, that sounds painful—but you know what we mean). The mahogany neck features a vintage-soft "C" profile and 10" radius Pau Ferro fingerboard. The Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1 and SH-4 humbuckers provide classic LP-style tones with ease. On top of great looks and tone, the Guild Bluesbird promises reliability without breaking the bank. Long story short, we are fans of this model!
