It's hard to add much to Pure Sound's description below, other than to say that it's precise, clear, dry and has that coveted woody mahogany tone. The Adirondack top is incredible and will outperform old Martin's in another 30 years given the superior wood and build quality. The back and sides speak for themselves: book-matched beeswing / fiddleback / flamed mahogany.

It's the sonic equivalent of a trusty 20 gauge over-under shotgun with the looks to match: simple and understated elegance from the ziricote headstock to the ebony fretboard and cocobolo binding. You will not find a more beautiful guitar, and it flat-picks marvelously. If Billy Strings were to buy a matching mahogany guitar, this would be it.

As noted below, there is a crack on the bottom left side that was professionally repaired by Sound Pure. You can barely see it, and you cannot feel it.

I am only selling it because I got the opportunity to buy my great uncle's mid 50's J50 and cannot afford to have two mahogany dreadnoughts right now.

What. A. Guitar.  From looks to sound, this is the finest 'hog dread we've seen in a good while.  We love the Country Boy Deluxe package, from the figured Mahogany on the back and sides to the burst to the Cocobolo binding here, there, and every where.  Dry and immediate, punchy and sustaining--this thing is like the fantasy version of every D18 you've ever imagined.  Aside from a crack on the bottom side of the guitar that our luthier successfully patched (can't feel it, can't hardly see it), the super-clean used condition is incredible given the guitar's been around for almost a decade.  if you're looking for a Mahogany dread to flatpick, you'll be hard pressed to find something better sounding (or downright prettier!) than this dressed up Country Boy!
