Ashbury AR-46 Resonator Chrome Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have an Ashbury AR-46 Resonator Acoustic guitar. This guitar features a Brass body, satin finish Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard, a wooden saddle, Rosewood biscuit and expertly cut f-holes and a single cone body. There is not a lot of information about this guitar available.

Resonator guitars work by transferring the vibrations from the strings, through the bridge and to a metal cone located within the metal body of the guitar. This produces a brighter sound than a traditional steel-string acoustic guitar. This Ashbury AR-46 sounds really great when strummed or fingerpicked.

The Mahogany neck feels sizable in the hand with quite a wide nut width but is still easy to manoeuvre and get around. The Chrome-Plated, Brass body is very weighty but helps to produce that classic resonator sound.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Presents minimal wear, not affecting maintenance nor playability.

Neck: The heel presents a crack, but this is stable and therefore not structural (see pictures); the rear top presents a crack in the lacquer; none of this is affecting maintenance nor playability.

Body: Presents a few light scratches on the whole surface (under bright light), not affecting maintenance nor playability.

Condition of Frets:

No/little signs of wear/indents

Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & can be adjusted

Hardware Condition: Excellent condition

Structural Condition: No concerns or issues to note

Height of the string from the 12th Fret- Treble 3mm - Bass 3.5mm
