Drooling? So was I when I saw the first pictures of this Spector Coda Deluxe #115.
Spector only brings the best of the best with them to NAMM for display, and this Coda made the cut. First notice the amazing quilted maple top wood, with birdseye maple fingerboard and abalone signature Spector inlays. The rest of the neck is also maple, and the back of the body is swamp ash for intense clarity and punch.
The other unique option you probably noticed is the Aguilar Super Single pickups. Anyone looking for a Jazz Bass sound with extra punch and gain will love these pickups. They are very modern sounding, but can be dialed back to a classic 60's tone by using the Aguilar OPB-2 electronics. There is a dedicated tone knob, which switches the bass to passive operation, as well as a treble and bass boost/cut. Pickup mix is controlled via 2 volume controls.
