I am selling my Yamaha GC-10A with solid cedar top and humicase. I bought this guitar in 1981 as my main classical concert guitar. I bought this guitar because it was endorsed by Liona Boyd, a great classical guitarist and because of the solid cedar top. To me, cedar is more mellow than spruce. I really like the beautiful back on this guitar. It plays like a dream and sounds great. The treble and bass response is great. I no longer play classical concerts so this is the reason that I am selling this wonderful guitar. In the pictures you can see the scotch tape that I put on the back of the neck to show where the 7th fret is. I actually learned this trick from Chet Atkins. When I met Chet back stage, he showed me how he had used scotch tape to mark the 7th fret of his Ramirez guitar. If it was good enough for Chet then it is good enough for me! I have attached a video of me playing this guitar so that you can hear for yourself how beautiful this guitar sounds.
