Very rare Hand Crafted Deering 600-S Stratocaster Style made in the early eighties before switching solely to banjo production only. John Deering states in a letter from him in picture #4 above that he only produced about 20 electric guitars of which only 3-4 were this model, making it an extremely rare find in excellent condition for a collector, historian, or player. It is a beautiful cream color with contrasting light tan plastic pick guard and back access panel. Nice cutaway style to hug this close when playing.
I would say this made in the USA guitar is as good as any Fender Strat made in any decade or country.
This may be my favorite guitar in my collection and it will ship with a perfectly fitted SHB hard shell case.
